ABOUT
Hi! I have just over five years of experience helping brands tell their stories—whether it’s household names like Olay and John Frieda, institutions like the University of Cincinnati, or indie brands like Parabo Press. I specialize in digital marketing and love using my journalism background to blend storytelling with data-driven strategy. Outside of work, I’m drawn to design, beauty, and well-being. You’ll usually find me rehearsing the violin, curating my space, or practicing hot yoga.

RÜYA COFFEE: STORYTELLING-DRIVEN BRANDING + COPYWRITING

A BRAND STORY WITH PURPOSE
At the heart of Rüya Coffee is the belief that coffee is more than just a beverage—it’s a connection to heritage, storytelling, and dreams. Built upon immigrant experiences, the brand’s Turkish coffee roots, and the aspirational essence of “Rüya” (which means “dream” in Turkish), every piece of copy, from website storytelling to product descriptions, was designed to honor tradition while inspiring a sense of possibility and belonging.
Strategic Symbolism in Design + Language
The brand’s design and language choices work together to reinforce its cultural depth. Elements like the evil eye and crescent moons symbolize protection, new beginnings, and the dreamlike nature of the brand. These symbols, paired with evocative, warm language, created a distinct and immersive experience, making customers feel like they were stepping into a world where heritage and modern aspirations coexist.
Cohesive Brand Identity THAT HONORS HERITAGE
Rüya Coffee celebrates the timeless ritual of Turkish coffee while making it accessible to a new generation. Every piece of content—whether it’s the website, social media, or packaging—reinforces Rüya’s identity, employing poetic yet approachable language to solidify a warm and welcoming brand voice steeped in cultural storytelling.
